Irene would be happy to review your child's IEP and educational records and tell you if she thinks you may have cause for the filing of a Request for Impartial Hearing. The initial consultation lasts for one hour, either in person at her Kailua office or via telephone conference. Prior to this consultation, Irene requires that you email, fax or mail the following documents at least one week prior to the scheduled consultation:

1. Most current IEP, if applicable
2. Most current assessments (medical, psychological, cognitive, educational)
3. Any letters to the DOE (Superintendent, Principal, Teachers) describing the problem
4. Any previous due process filings or decisions
5. A short, one-page summary of your child's current situation. Include child's date of birth, home school name and grade, type of disability and a description of how this disability effects your child's ability to learn, your contact information (email, telephone, mailing address).
